Once the plan is finalized, Mountain Hearth Homes takes the hassle away when applying for permits

- Registering the build with BC Housing and New Home Warranty
- Arranging for energy audits
- Submitting the permit application
- Managing any additional requirements for permitting (including, but not limited to):

- The second most exciting part of the build, apart from moving in, you get a hold in the ground!!!
- Forms are laid and foundation is poured
- Drainage piping is laid around foundation

- Foundation is backfilled and ready for inspection

- Windows & exterior doors are installed

- Basement Slab is poured
- Roofing is completed

For budget sensitive OR handy buyers BC allows homeowners to take over at this stage and complete their own finishing work”. Possession/occupancy still requires the home to be complete.
